2nd Day (Tue.) Madrid

Enjoy a full buffet breakfast at your hotel. Set out for morning city discovery and enjoy one the most exciting cities in the world, Madrid. See the highlights and live the passion this city has on its DNA. Afternoon at leisure to continue exploring the wonders that the city has to offer. Mapping In-Depth: Optionally, take an excursion to Toledo.Imperial city of Toledo, World Heritage City, where the three cultures Christians, Moorish and Jewish, have lived together for centuries. Enjoy a guided city tour of this historical old town through its narrow streets. In the early evening, join your fellow travelers for an authentic Welcome Tapas Dinner at a local restaurant. 3Rd Day (Wed.) Madrid - Ávila - Salamanca

Enjoy a full buffet breakfast at your hotel. Our Iberian exploration begins today. Bond for Castilian soils, you will drive towards Avila. Our first stop for the day will be at the city of Avila, one of the best-preserved fortifications in Spain. Time at leisure. Visit the Walls of Ávila and imagine the stories they have seen through the centuries. Marvel at the fortification and towers, which have granted the city a World Heritage Site status by UNESCO. 4Th Day (Thu.) Salamanca - Pinhao - Porto

Enjoy a full buffet breakfast at your hotel. Continue to the Portuguese border to reach Pinhao, small village nestled in a charming bend of the Duoro River, surrounded by terraced hillsides where one of the best Port wines in the world are produced. In addition to its numerous wineries, it is worth mentioning the beautiful train station ornate with vintage harvest images. Continue to Porto. Located along the Douro River estuary in Northern Portugal, Porto is one of the oldest European towns, and proclaimed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996. Rest of day at leisure. 6Th Day (Sat.) Porto - Coimbra - Lisbon

Enjoy a full buffet breakfast at your hotel. Depart to Coimbra, one of the oldest universities in Europe and the birthplace of Fado. You will be enchanted by its historic center, the cathedral and the famous University of Coimbra. In Coimbra you will witness how student traditions and symbolic practices are preserved. Students in their long black coats entering monumental buildings that still serve as study houses. Walk through the narrow beautiful streets and admire the Roman ruins, the city walls and all the special nooks and crannies of the typical neighborhoods of the historical center. 9Th Day (Tue.) Lisbon - Mérida - Seville

Now, back in Spain, soils of Extremadura, the most central-western part of the Iberian Peninsula we will stop in Mérida which allows you to enjoy the heritage bequeathed by the city's inhabitants over the centuries. Its streets and buildings reflect the passage of Roman, Visigoth, Arab and Christian culture, will take us to the past. Named Augusta Emerita, was a very important city and had all the elements of the great Roman cities, including the Amphitheater, the Circus and the Theater. In December 1993, UNESCO declared the Archaeological Ensemble of Emerita a World Heritage Site. Set out for morning city discovery and enjoy the main Mediterranean Spanish city and home to world famous architect Gaudí, symbol of the Catalonian modernism. Follow your guide through the streets of Barcelona and get into your private vehicle for a panoramic tour of the city. We will head towards the Montjuic Mountain, the area that hosted many of the facilities of the 1992 Olympic Games. Get ready to enjoy the incredible views over the city of Barcelona. On the way back to the city centre, we will drive along Paseo de Gracia, one of the most important streets in Barcelona, and we will see the facades of Gaudí's emblematic buildings such as Casa Batlló and La Pedrera.
